He has won two Grammy Awards, seven Grammy nominations, ten Audie Awards, and was the first inductee into the American Audio Hall of Fame. He has lent his voice to dozens of books in a variety of genres. We’re lucky enough to know Jim as the voice behind some of our favorite stories. And that's all before we even talk about his work as a narrator. TV fans will recognize him as the narrator of the cult favorite series Pushing Daisies. His film work includes Pete’s Dragon and another Academy Award nomination for his leading role in 1973’s Adolf Hitler: My Part in His Downfall.

Recently, he was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame. He currently stars in his own one-man show, Just Jim Dale at the Roundabout Theater Company in New York City. He has starred in dozens of stage productions with the British National Theatre Company and on Broadway, and in 1980 he won the Tony Award for his performance in Barnum. In the 1960s he became a pop star and songwriter, earning an Academy Award nomination for penning the title song for the film Georgy Girl. Few performers have had as diverse and fascinating a career as Jim Dale.
